Combat Parts Inc. began with a simple idea: to turn hard work, skill, and a passion for problem-solving into real-world solutions. Founded by Dale Hammel in June 2002, the company started in a modest shed on his parents’ land. Through dedication and craftsmanship, Combat Parts quickly outgrew its beginnings.
By 2004, ground broke on the first 5,000 sq. ft. shop, laying the foundation for future growth. In 2018, a 6,360 sq. ft. addition was completed to support expanding operations and capabilities. Over the years, we’ve added advanced equipment, hired skilled team members, and broadened the scope of our services.
Today, our tight-knit team includes eight full-time employees (including Dale) and one part-time staff member. Together, we specialize in machining, fabrication, welding, and food equipment repair—delivering precision parts and tailored solutions across a wide range of industries.
From logging and farming to meat processing, dairy, and construction, we create specialty and replacement parts designed to keep your equipment running strong.
As for our name—“Combat Parts” has roots in Dale’s early work designing and building complete robots and robot parts for robot competition fighting for tv shows that included Battlebots which aired on Comedy Central, and now on ABC/Discovery. Dale was part of the Team Whyachi, which won the 2001 BattleBots Season 3.0 Heavyweight Championship with their robot Son of Whyachi.
What began as a passion for high-performance robotics evolved into a full-fledged business, carrying that same precision, durability, and creative problem-solving into everything we build today.
